Island Mound State Historical Site POTA activation
A quick post breakfast trip to activate Parks on the Air (POTA) K-3338 which is 5 miles west of Butler MO. I was accompanied by James (NOCALL) and Kevin (K0KAW). James was able to operate HF for the first time and was able to experience pileups. Overall 115 QSO’s in the log, 32 states, 3 countries (US, Canada, Spain).
